What: Roxie Ankle Tie Tassel pumps by J.Crew
Material: 100% leather upper, lining and sole.
Quality: Excellent! Soft leather, no toe cleavage (deal breaker to some), manageable heels. Not too keen on the tassel mania but they don’t look too bad so I guess they pass. Otherwise, they can be removed easily (just untie the knots)
Fit: I was able to fit my regular shoe size, so I’d say they run true to size.
Sissi’s verdict: Keeper! Am always for ankle straps and the gorgeous olive green will add a nice sophistication to spring and summer outfits! 😉

These heels had been on my watch list for a while (as you know, I love ankle shoes). Also, I was attracted by the stacked heel. Well, see the review below 🙂

What: Lanie Stacked-Heel Sandals by J.Crew
Material: 100% leather upper and lining, man-made sole.
Quality: Very good leather; sturdy heel; should last a long time if maintained properly. I also love the color, some neutral grey that could be matched with various outfit. Too bad this summer has been cool. Feels like Fall already!
Fit: Great! You can really feel the leather lining, almost similar to the Nike air technology by Cole Haan as far as comfort is concerned, at least to me. I like the stacked heel as it helps for balance because those heels are pretty high, they feel higher than four inches 🙂

I received an email regarding the 2014 pre-fall Saint Laurent collection at Saks Fifth.
Well I cannot afford any of the items, but I notice the trend is for studded shoes, pointed toes with extra high heels and ankles (both boot and ankle strap). Also, it looks like a return of the square tote.
Check the collection for yourself at Saks.
Few of my favorites below:
Purchased the Quinn Ankle pumps a while back on one of the promos but was only able to wear yesterday. If you are considering the pumps for Cyber Monday (or subsequent days), my review below:
Pros: I love ankle shoes and the straps (cuffs 🙂 ) on these are very comfortable, they are not too tight on the ankle either. The leather is of great quality, buttery and all (whatever that means 🙂 ). The heel is a very manageable 3 1/2 inches, they actually feel lower than three inches, very comfortable and could be worn all day. The color is a pretty blue. Fit is true-to-size with a tiny room so you could do half a size down if you like a tighter fit but I believe TTS is the way to go.
Cons: The color may be difficult to pair but I personally like it
Sissi’s Verdict: Keeper!
Do you agree? Please share! The other pumps I like from the sale section are the Leather-Bow Ankle Strap.
If you have tried them on, let me know if to bite or not. They look pretty cute on Pink Peonies.
