Yesterday, I stopped by Anthropologie and saw this dress on sale. Well, it ended up not being on sale at all despite the stickers, but if you are considering, my review below.
What: Ivoire Dress by Tracy Reese at Anthropologie
Material: 100% Cotton outer, 100% poly lining
Quality: Good, I particularly love the lace details and the back opening. Anthropologie is offering a modified version of the dress in blue HERE (Azure dress)
Fit: Comfortable. Loving the short sleeves. The dress has lots of flare so that could hide hips and belly. Otherwise, you can use a belt. The dress falls above my knees so on regular size I’d say it would reach the knees or be slightly above the knees.
Sissi’s Verdict: Keeper…but I will wait for sale because am on budget 🙂 Have you tried on the dress? Please share!
I was looking at some items at Anthropologie’s wedding store: Beholden or BHLDN. Today, I am reviewing the Crystal Lattice Bracelet. Below is the picture per BHLDN website and further down are my own pictures. I have more BHLDN jewelry and two BHLDN knee-length dresses to review in the coming weeks. Stay tuned each Tuesday 🙂
This is the Crystal Lattice bracelet per BHLDN website
What: Crystal Lattice bracelet by BHLDN
Material: Cotton, glass, metallic thread, suede backing. The suede is pretty nice on the skin. And the closure is fairly innovative
Quality: average. I admire the design but it does not justify the original price, nor the sale price in my opinion. The bracelet looks nice from afar but not up close.
Fit: bracelet fits the wrist nicely
Sissi’s Verdict: Return. The design is cute but am not sold on quality for the price, even on sale. Do you agree? Please share!
I miss my mom 😦 😦 so was looking at some pictures we took last year while visiting the Academy of Music…Outfit below consists of old items (prior to 2012) and the outlet sweater from last year. The beauty of keeping pictures is that now I am looking forward to wearing this combination again, per my style resolution for Spring 😉
eyelet dress (Banana Republic, old; alternative) — flats/sweater /belt (J.Crew, old)
Those are my first ballet flats from the Crew, I like them so much they are all worn out now 😦 But the color is so vibrant still!
