Took advantage of the 40% off promo (code: SHOPHAPPY, ending Jan 7th 2014) and purchased the swiss-dot top in neutral. I saw the top on a sales person paired with black skinnies and black mid-heel pumps…will try to copy her look 😉
Pros: the lace and swiss-dot combination is well executed, very comfortable, great with promo price, can be styled up or worn casual. Loving the buttons on the back!
Cons: the longer length…I went with tall and while length is OK, it is longer than am used to at J.Crew. However, it matches the regular length on the store stylist and looks just as good.
Fit: true to size. The fit leaves room for arm movement so no snuggle fit to protect the silk. The fabric is sheer and you could wear with a cami underneath but should be OK without.
Quality: mixture of silk and cotton with polyester lining
Sissi’s verdict: keeper! Do you agree? Please share!
Saw some new updates on Friday Dec. 27th 2013. While most look to be a slight variation of previous offerings, I am fond of two new prints: the Misty Fog and the Moonglow Paisley. J.Crew is offering each in dresses, tops and/or shorts (why not skirts 😦 ). I am personally drawn to the tops…See for yourself below. Collection Blouse in Misty Fog
Update: Shopping with M has reviewed this tee in her latest post.
