Some outfit ideas for this week. As usual, let me know which you like best! I’ll update the links tonight.

What: Collection collarless leather jeacket by J.Crew
Material: 100% tumbled leather
Quality: Very good! The leather feels nice on the skin and the emerald color is gorgeous, though my pictures do not do it justice. Color is closer to the picture on J.Crew website. No collars add to the unique style.
Fit: Runs large. The style is supposed to be boxy…I’d say size down or use your regular size for a true boxy look.
Sissi’s verdict: Wait for major sale. The boxy looks is not one of my fav but the jacket is well made and the color is very unique. However, I cannot afford it even at 30% off. If you can, take advantage of the promo and grab it while it lasts!

Today, I am reviewing this pretty dress in Caravan Blue.
What: Collection Grosgain Lace dress by J.Crew
Season: Winter 2014
Material: 100% cotton outer, 100% polyester lining
Quality: Very Good, l love the lace detailing. The only disappointment is that the thread can easily snag or pull out…So be careful where you seat and what accessories you use while wearing the dress. I love the caravan blue color as well.
Fit: True-to-size to slightly small. If you’re in between sizes, I’d recommend to order your larger size. The length is right at my knees, I could size up to get a little more length but will lose the fit at the waist. Dilemma of the giant 🙂
Sissi’s verdict: Got it on some major sale and lucky popback so a definite keeper!

Yesterday, I stopped by Anthropologie and saw this dress on sale. Well, it ended up not being on sale at all despite the stickers, but if you are considering, my review below.
Sissi’s Review
What: Ivoire Dress by Tracy Reese at Anthropologie
Material: 100% Cotton outer, 100% poly lining
Quality: Good, I particularly love the lace details and the back opening. Anthropologie is offering a modified version of the dress in blue HERE (Azure dress)
Fit: Comfortable. Loving the short sleeves. The dress has lots of flare so that could hide hips and belly. Otherwise, you can use a belt. The dress falls above my knees so on regular size I’d say it would reach the knees or be slightly above the knees.
Sissi’s Verdict: Keeper…but I will wait for sale because am on budget 🙂 Have you tried on the dress? Please share!
This is a print that has gathered a few raves per my Personal Stylist. The Photo Floral reminds me of the Punk Floral from last Spring.

The style comes in a dress and a skirt. The dress felt like a sturdier cotton, but it was too short so I passed on it. I tried on the skirt. A quick review below:
Pros: very cute print, fresh and light, can be paired with whites, greens, blues, etc. It’s all cotton but…
Cons: No lining!!! I felt a little too exposed and with the summer heat, there could be sweat spots which are unflattering. I’d recommend a slip if you are considering, or wearing now in Spring with cooler temperatures. Also, considering the very light cotton, I am not sure the unique print by itself justifies the full price… 😦
Material: 100% cotton, no lining
Fit: Runs large. My regular size was simply too puffy and the waist did not hold. I’d recommend to size down or go with your smaller skirt size at the Crew.
Sissi’s verdict: I’d say wait for sales, but I hear it’s been going fast like the Punk Floral from last season. Up to you, I’d wait for a discount.
