Fashion News: Alexander Wang for H&M

There was a big event in NYC to launch and tease the soon to be released Alexander Wang for H&M Collection.

The collection will be available in stores starting November 6th 2014.  It is a little too ‘sporty’ for me (as in too sweatpant like) and very similar to the Clara D for DKNY collection…but I like the leather-like backpack on the male models.

The beauty of thrift shops is in finding quality items at an affordable price.  As an example, the Odille skirt on the first picture is a stunning print made of 100% silk. And it did cost less than $25.   On the other hand, the DKNY skirt is 100% wool with sequin patterns, though not quite visible in the last picture above. Also a product of my last trip to a second-hand clothing store.
