Saw this Rag and Bone dress on Cameron Diaz and loved it (not enough to spend $500 on a polyester dress, but surely we can get this look combination with a button down white shirt, a black sweater and black skirt with belt…no?)
Some outfit ideas, let me know which you like best! The red dress with purple belt and boots was put together by my friend Mrs MSquared….she always looks for the highest boots in the world in an effort to look taller than me…guess she’ll keep on trying 😉 The floral dress was a purchase from the Neiman Marcus @ Target collection few years back…the dress looks and feels amazing! Well designed by Lela Rose!
I seem to be on a TB roll…not for long, no worries 🙂 . Ordered the Kiernan Riding boots during the Nordstrom sale (the Almond color is not available at Nordstrom anymore but you can purchase directly at Tory Burch (or full price as am posting this at Neiman Marcus)
Pros: high quality leather (why does it say veg leather…?), love the simple style, glamorous T logo, very comfortable, rich almond color, low heel, leather and fabric lining, leather and rubber sole
Cons: price (even with coupon and sales, still pricey…Aldo shoes offer similar alternatives at a fraction of the cost, though the quality is not the same), runs a little large so would advise to go half a size down if you prefer a true fit
Sissi’s verdict: A keeper if you have the money to spare; otherwise, get the look for less at Aldo (minus the prestigious logo).

In my first post for SissiFashion, I did mention that I would be on the look for green and navy blue as my go-to color combination for fall. Being a tennis fan, I saw a picture of Maria Sharapova (no, am not a fan of her tennis but I do like her fashion sense) with a cute colorblock long-sleeved shirt and blue skirt. It had a J.Crew feeling and so I checked…..and discovered that it is part of the Phillip Lim for Target upcoming fall collection!
See for yourself a preview of the collection HERE.
I have had my share of hits and misses when it comes to big designers pairing with low-cost retailers for a collection line. Some examples: Versace for H&M was a big disappointment for me, and I waited in line!! Jimmy Choo for Target did not work, too polyesterish. On the other hand, Neiman Marcus for Target was AWESOME!
As a result, I am excited but cautious about all the LIM for Target collection, we will see how it turns out….if I get an opportunity to even find an item!

If you are a Maria Sharapova tennis fan, sorry we will agree to disagree on her personality as a tennis player, but definitely agree on her style sense 😉
