Today’s outfit, all old purchases to keep my resolution for this year. Day 6 so far and going strong (ehhehe let’s see for how long ;-). Forgot to take a full “on” picture though…re-using the shoes and bag from yesterday since they were staring at me…

What: No.2 pencil skirt in houndstooth by J.Crew

When: Winter 2016

How (Material): Wool upper, polyester lining

Why (Pros):

Look: Classic pencil skirt, hits right at knees.
Comfort: Very comfortable.
Quality: Great quality. Love the inside details, the corduroy at the waist and the fun lining. Well done! Color is darker than the previously offered No.2 skirt in tweed.
Sizing: True to size.

Why Not (Cons): Nothing much. Beware the houndstooth is darker in color than pictured.

What: Double-Stripe pencil skirt by J.Crew

Season: Spring 2015

Material: 100% cotton outer, 100% poly lining

Quality: Very good! I love the soft pink stripes the most…so feminine (and am not even a pink lady)

Fit: True to size to slightly small

Sissi’s verdict: Keeper at sale price in store!
