Review: Collection Wool-Silk Dress in Window Pane

The windowpane dress is currently on sale with extra 30% off. A quick review below:

Pros: great quality, can be paired with shirts or worn without any, loving the vibrant colors and the slit detail is not bad but….

Cons: pretty high slit; the dress reaches my knees but the slit is mid thigh…

Material: mixture of wool and silk with poly lining

Fit: true to size

Sissi’s verdict: undecided…I like the colors and the fit is actually nice with a belt, but I’ll need to cover the high slit and not sure it is worth it then…if the slit works for you, then a keeper.

I have another collection item to review next week: the Collection Garden Eyelet Dress.

Stay tuned for next week!

NYFW Fall Winter 2014: J.Crew

New York Fashion Week is underway for Fall Winter 2014 presentation…when we are about to get to Spring 2014! In any case, I am not particularly impressed by the offerings at J.Crew, main items to catch my attention are the pencil and knee-length wool shorts (nicely mixed with deep burgundy!).

However, I am really excited about the shoes!! Particularly, the blue pumps above and the fancy strappy ones below:

Speaking of shoes, am looking forward to the Spring collection at J.Crew…shoes look promising per below.  Also, waiting on the lime dress with front slit…lime green for spring? Check!
