Review: J.Crew Lace-Trim Swiss-Dot Top in Neutral
Took advantage of the 40% off promo (code: SHOPHAPPY, ending Jan 7th 2014) and purchased the swiss-dot top in neutral. I saw the top on a sales person paired with black skinnies and black mid-heel pumps…will try to copy her look 😉
Pros: the lace and swiss-dot combination is well executed, very comfortable, great with promo price, can be styled up or worn casual. Loving the buttons on the back!
Cons: the longer length…I went with tall and while length is OK, it is longer than am used to at J.Crew. However, it matches the regular length on the store stylist and looks just as good.
Fit: true to size. The fit leaves room for arm movement so no snuggle fit to protect the silk. The fabric is sheer and you could wear with a cami underneath but should be OK without.
Quality: mixture of silk and cotton with polyester lining
Sissi’s verdict: keeper! Do you agree? Please share!

Loving the colorblock sweaters but cannot stand J.Crew prices? Think again, I am still puzzled by DesKohan…why again is this sweater close to $500? Take a look for yourself: J.Crew colorblock versus DesKohan sweater.
Now, if you are into the sequin look and are salivating after the grey sequined collection cashmere sweater at J.Crew, you may want to look at LOFT Pearlized Gem alternate for your pocket..that is if your pocket needs the savings.
Other items I liked:
